El Sensor magnético para ventanas y puertas consta de un imán y un reedswitch (interruptor magnético). Este sensor funciona como un switch normalmente cerrado (mientras hay campo magnético). Cuando la puerta o ventana se abre, el circuito eléctrico también se abre y es posible detectar la apertura de la misma.
